Since 2005 I have been a regular tutor and lecturer for a number of cruiselines. My time at sea now fulfils a lifelong ambition, in that as a teenager I was obsessed with the history of ocean liner design, and remember following the building of the QE2 from the laying of her keel to her speed trials on the Clyde, like only a real enthusiast can! I now enjoy nothing more than painting at sea and lecturing on the glory days of the great liners, the art and architecture of the world's many civilisations, and the people that give the world its colour and character.
